Email Compliance
Email and Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
This policy explains how DevCloudDesk uses email and prevents abuse. It is intended for customers, recipients, payment partners, and email infrastructure providers.
Purpose
DevCloudDesk uses email to operate the service, protect accounts, support customers, and send infrastructure alerts requested by users. We do not provide SMTP relay, bulk email, mailing list, newsletter, or customer-controlled campaign sending features.
Transactional email only
System emails are limited to account verification, password resets, login alerts, billing notices, invoices, trial reminders, payment failures, security alerts, infrastructure notifications, support replies, and administrative service messages.
Marketing consent
Optional marketing communication from DevCloudDesk requires user opt-in or a lawful business relationship. Users can opt out of marketing messages through account preferences or by contacting support. Marketing preferences do not disable critical transactional or security emails.
No customer bulk sending
Customers may not use DevCloudDesk, connected servers, agents, automations, scripts, webhooks, alerts, or integrations to send spam, unsolicited marketing, harvested-list messages, phishing, mailbombing traffic, spoofed messages, or messages that violate email-provider policies.
Authentication and sender controls
DevCloudDesk uses verified sending domains and maintains email authentication controls such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC where supported by the email provider. Sending identities are controlled by DevCloudDesk and are not exposed as a relay for customer use.
Bounce and complaint handling
We monitor delivery failures, bounces, complaints, and abuse signals from email providers. Addresses that repeatedly bounce or complain may be suppressed from non-critical messages, and accounts connected to email abuse may be restricted or suspended.
Abuse reports
Email abuse, phishing, spoofing, or spam concerns involving DevCloudDesk should be reported to abuse@devclouddesk.com with message headers, timestamps, recipient address, sender address, and any relevant URLs or account details.
Provider compliance
DevCloudDesk follows the acceptable use and anti-spam requirements of its email infrastructure providers, including Amazon SES where used. We may preserve logs, disable email features, suspend accounts, or cooperate with providers and affected parties when investigating abuse.
